Today is the first of eight days of Hanukkah, which
commemorates the rededication of the Temple by Judas
Maccabaeus in 165 B.C. Yesterday, Rabbi Mendy Schurder
of Chabad of Hawaii inspected the menorah erected
arlier near Honolulu Hale.
