Bullet Akiko Gusukuma, 70, of Pepeekeo, Hawaii, a homemaker, died last Tuesday in Hilo Hospital. Born in Honomu, Hawaii, she is survived by son Stanley S.; daughter Janet Jun; brothers Aran, Kiyoshi, Noboru, Tetsuo and Kenneth Yoza; and four grandchildren. Bullet Liyu Hoshino, 93, of Honolulu, a retired sales clerk, died Oct. 29 at St. Francis Medical Center, Liliha. Born in Olaa, Hawaii, she is survived by many nieces and nephews. Service: 6 p.m. Wednesday, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary.

Bullet Ayako Ishida 72, of Honolulu, died Oct. 26 at Kuakini Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, she was a retired customer service representative with First Hawaiian Credit Corp. and a member of the Shinshu Kyokai Fujinkai. She is survived by brother Masaru, five nieces and two nephews. Service: 6 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel of Hosoi Garden Mortuary. No flowers. Casual attire.

Bullet Charles C.W. Lake 62, of Kaneohe, a retired maintenance manager at Aloha Tower Condominium, died Oct. 27 at Castle Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he is survived by wife Patricia; daughter Beverly Crum; sons Michael McGann and Danny; brother Newman; sisters Nola Berlingliff and Nova Cambe; and two grandchildren.
