Neiman Marcus held its grand opening at Ala Moana Center
last evening, a benefit for the Contemporary Museum, Hawaii
Theatre Center, Honolulu Academy of Arts and the Honolulu
Symphony. At top, party-goers at the black-tie affair, hosted
by the Dallas-based specialty retailer, crowd around one of
many serving areas. Middle, guests were greeted by, from
left, Tyson Lee, Robert Medeiros, Brian Morton and Herman
Medeiros. At bottom, Lynn Ariyoshi, left, looks on as her
mother, the former first lady Jean Ariyoshi, greets the present
first lady, Vicky Cayetano. The store officially opens today.
