Video denotes way
of future on Net

On some computers hooked up to the Internet, streaming video -- moving pictures -- is nothing more than a puddle of fuzzy pictures that may or may not change before the program crashes.

But when everything works right, streaming video points to the future of the Internet.

If you want to see what is possible, check out the latest edition of Costantinos Papacostas' traffic-camera Web page at http://www.eng.hawaii.edu/~csp/Trafficam/index.html.

There you will find live moving pictures of the Kalakaua and Kapahulu intersection.

The faster your connection, the better the video will appear.

Papacostas constantly changes his Web site, so it is a good one to bookmark and check often.
