Aloha beer at
Aloha Stadium

Dining out at Aloha Stadium doesn't have to mean a hotdog. Beginning with the first University of Hawaii Rainbow game of the season, Sept. 3, chef Sam Choy will treat you to a meal of poke and beer. Well, not exactly treat you, you have to pay. Try Choy's fried poke these three ways: poke plate (on a bed of cabbage and rice), poke wrap (with lettuce, fried rice and a wasabi-mayo spread wrapped in a tortilla) or poke salad. There's also the non-poke Kaloko salad of mixed greens. Prices range from $3.95-$6.75.

Wash it all down with Choy's Big Aloha Beer, 16 ounces for $4.50. The eight varieties of Big Aloha Beer will be rotated through the stadium concessions. Opening-night fare is the Hefe-Weizen, an unfiltered wheat ale, and Steamship Lager.
