Jolly green
dressing at Nick's

Fresh spinach, anchovies and leeks are savory ingredients in the Green Goddess-like "Nick's Special Dressing," just unveiled in bottled form at Nick's Fishmarket. It's available for $5 at the Waikiki restaurant nightly, 5:30 to midnight.

The creamy, light green mixture dresses romaine spears and bay shrimp in Nick's special salad. The salad is part of a special 30th-anniversary prix-fixe dinner for $30, served through Aug. 31.

The anniversary menu also includes a seafood appetizer featuring oysters Rockefeller and escargot a la bourguignonne; entrees such as roast rack of lamb with garlic mashed potatoes and wild mushroom sauce; cherries jubilee; and Kona coffee.

For reservations, call 955-6333.
