Songwriter Nelson
lives in Arizona

What ever happened to singer/songwriter Bob Nelson?

Hawaii pianist, singer and songwriter Bob Nelson and his wife, Irene, now reside in Scottsdale, Ariz.

According to Nelson, he and his wife recently moved to Arizona and are getting settled.

As for performing, "he's just (singing) at private functions," Irene said.

"I'm singing a variety of songs," Nelson added. "I try to stick to private (engagements)."

In the 1970s and 1980s, Nelson wrote several popular songs, such as "Hanalei Moon," "Maui Waltz" and "Just a Little Girl."

The Nelsons plan to make Arizona their permanent residence, according to Irene.
