Moving up at C&C Homes

Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii Inc. has promoted Bonnie Freitas to head the human resources department. She will design and manage all human resource programs and policies for 1,500 employees.

She replaces Bert Kido, senior vice president, who left to pursue other interests.

Freitas has worked at Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii for 10 years and most recently was human resources manager. She also has worked in in human resources at Aloha Airlines and Marsh & McLennan Inc. in San Francisco.

Freitas has been a board member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Honolulu since 1987. She is a member of the American Compensation Association and Society for Human Resources Management.

She has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Gonzaga University and a master's in business administration from Chaminade University.
