win regattas

Lokahi Canoe Club's Susan Colburn receives a celebratory
welcome from teammates after her crew won the Senior Women's
canoe paddling race at Keehi Lagoon yesterday.



Lokahi Canoe Club won yesterday's Hui Wa'a canoe paddling regatta and Lanikai was took the title in the Oahu Hawaiian Canoe Racing Association's event.

Lokahi piled up a 29-point margin of victory, finishing with 70 in its own Lokahi Canoe Club Regatta at Keehi Lagoon. Na Keiki O Ka Mo'i was second with 51 points.

Lanikai was just as impressive in its win, with 81 points in the King Kamehameha Regatta at Kailua Beach Park.

Kailua was second with 58 points.
