UH agricultural site
sprouts up on Web

It's all ag, all the time.

A project planted by the University of Hawaii's College of Tropical Agriculture and the state and federal agriculture departments is bearing fruit at http://www.hawaiiag.org.

The site is a trove of information about plants, animals, fish and environmental care in Hawaii.

There is a section to help teachers teach agriculture, information for farmers and advice on how to make smart choices when food shopping.

There even is a section allowing you to ask UH scientists how to grow a beautiful lawn or flower bed.

"Home on the Web" is a weekly Friday feature of the Star-Bulletin.
