Bu La‘ia opens run
for govenor on Web

Just when you thought it was safe to hold an election, who should return but Bu La'ia, running for governor on a platform of "Ask not what Bu can du for U, but what U can du for Bu. You ketch da plan, Stan?"

The entire plan is revealed at http://www.molokai.com/Bu.

Kaui Hill, the comedian known as Bu La'ia, attempted to run for governor four years ago but was too young. Now he is ready to go.

"T'ings is so bad for most of us that you have to joke about it," he says on his Bu for Governor page.

"Braddah Bu is deliriously serious. Not only that, but he can make a difference."

Hill hasn't formally filed yet with the Campaign Spending Commission, but he is the first candidate with an active Web page.
