The Sheraton hotels in Hawaii will get a promotional boost this year.

ITT Sheraton Corp. said today it is featuring its Hawaii resort properties in publicity with Visa U.S.A. to launch a long-term promotional cooperation with the Visa credit card.

The multi-million-dollar alliance with Visa will include joint advertising and joint consumer and trade promotions.

Holders of Visa cards will get access to special incentives and offers when they use Visa to pay for their stays at properties in the three Sheraton brand groups: Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, the Luxury Collection and Four Points Hotels by ITT Sheraton.

In the kickoff program, visitors using Visa at the Hawaii properties during this year will get such extras as a fifth night free after paying for four nights, $25-$50 credits off each day's food bills in hotel restaurants, later checkout times and room upgrades. The offers vary from hotel to hotel among the eight Sheraton-managed properties in Hawaii.

ITT Sheraton is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Starwood Hotels & Resorts of Phoenix.
