Da kine sound
lives on the Net

Just because KCCN radio is giving up its Hawaiian music programming doesn't mean that the twang of steel guitars vanishes with it.

There is still Internet Radio Hawaii with its RealAudio Hawaiian Music programs at http://hotspots.hawaii.com/irhmusic2.html .

This week the site, set up by local businessman and former disc jockey Robert "Rabbett" Abbett is dedicated to Rell Sunn, the surfer who died last week.

To hear the music, you need a copy of RealAudio Player, a program that works with both PC and Macintosh computers. You can grab a free copy of the program at http://www.realaudio.com/ .

"Home on the Web" is a weekly Friday feature of the Star-Bulletin.
