Kahuku 36, Kaiser 33: At Kahuku, Nainoa Logan hit two free throws with about 30 seconds left to give the Red Raiders a three-point edge and Orlando Wong came up with a steal in the closing seconds to seal the victory.
Kaunaoa McGee scored nine of his 13 points in the last quarter, helping Kaiser close from five points down to 34-33 with a little over a minute to play. But the Cougars missed the front end of a 1-and-1 free-throw chance and Logan made both of his 1-and-1 shots at the other end.
Ryan Lee also had 13 points for Kaiser. Hyrum Peters led Kahuku's balanced scoring with nine.
