City’s ceremony
to light up Web

The city's Christmas tree lighting program gets bigger and more elaborate every year.

So big, in fact, that officials moved it to the weekend.

You can find all the details about the program, which starts tomorrow, by visiting http://cchnl.oceanic.com/events/lights/.

The entire program for the 13th annual Honolulu City Lights celebration is available on the city's Web site.

Although the city hasn't managed to post the actual tree lighting to the Internet, you can review pictures of past tree ceremonies and also get the schedule for tomorrow.

The televised broadcast will be on KHNL starting at 6 p.m tomorrow.

City officials predict all of downtown will be illuminated simultaneously when Mayor Jeremy Harris lights the city's Christmas tree precisely at 6:25 p.m.
