Bicycle Safety Rodeo: Second annual event commemorating Children and Youth Month, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Shriners Hospital for Children. Video presentation, hand-on safe riding instructions for children who bring their bicycle and safety helmets, goodie bags and an eight-station safety course for children to try. Call 523-1178.

Fire Safety: Be one of the first 500 children at Windward City Shopping Center's "Know When To Go ... React Fast To Fire!" and get a free firefighter hat and safety booklet. "Sparky," the Honolulu Fire Department's mascot, will be on hand with different types of fire trucks to view.
