


Crazy Shirts founder Rick Ralston is hosting an antique auction tomorrow at the Crazy Shirts warehouse in Halawa Industrial Park. Going once, going twice:
Sold! on antiques auctionSome of the fine and funky items from the past include 1930s kitchen stoves, an 8-foot back bar, bicycles, a carousel horse, treadle sewing machine, chandeliers, mounted animal heads, armoires, wood and brass beds, toys, dressers, garden furniture, and more.
Antiques can be previewed from 9 a.m. to noon. The auction starts at 12:01 p.m. A 5 percent premium from each lot auctioned will be donated to Haleiwa Main Street, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the revitalization and beautification of Historic Haleiwa Town.

Steel guitarist Jerry Byrd, known worldwide as "master of touch and tone," will headline the Halekulani's Aloha Week Steel Guitar Festival running tomorrow through Sept. 20. Steel guitar fest at Halekulani
Byrd performs from 7:45 to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow and on the 20th in the House Without A Key. He will be joined by House regulars the Islanders and Hiram Olsen Trio, who will perform daily from 5 p.m.
