Holiday happenings
available online

Start off your three-day Labor Day holiday by going surfing. If the south side is down, try the newest surf site on the Web, the Huntington Beach Surf Museum.

The museum's web site at http://www.surfingmuseum.org has just been redone with a slick layout and pictures.

If you are spending Labor Day at a picnic, here are two new sites to help you plan the meal.

First step over to the National Broiler Council's site, empathetically named: EAT Chicken. More chicken recipes than you will ever need are at http://eatchicken.com/homepage.cfm.

After dinner, here's a new site that lets you figure out the best cookie recipes: http://www.cookierecipe.com.

Both the chicken and the cookie sites let you search by favorite ingredient or type.
