Mary M. Betonio, 82, of Honolulu died Sunday at home. Born in Honolulu, she is survived by daughters Christine Correa, Sharon Keliinoi, Josephine Betonio, Violet Davis and Michelle Betonio; sons Joseph, Rick, Josiah, Fabian, Jubal and Keoki; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Tadashi Ishizu, 86, of Kula, Hawaii, retired manager of Kula Super Market, died Wednesday in Mauna Place. Born in Wailuku, he is survived by wife Miyoko Y.; sons Roy, Clarence and Rogers; brother Richard; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Bongak “Jackie” Koja, 59, of Wahiawa was remembered in services Sunday. She was killed June 9 while on an early morning walk in Wahiawa. Born in Pusan, Korea, she is survived by husband James.

Edwin S. Kuniyoshi, 78, former beverage manager of Reef Hotel, died April 20. Born in Puna, Hawaii, he is survived by wife Lita C.; daughters Kandace and Holly; stepson Jon “Tabo” Sakata; stepdaughter Glenna Sakata; brother Shinkyo; and 10 grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Waikiki Beach in front of Reef Hotel. Scattering of ashes will follow.

Mollie Y. Lai, 76, of Honolulu, also known as Lai Young Sam, died Tuesday in Kuakini Hospital. She was a retired inspector with Dole Cannery. Born in Honolulu, she is survived by husband Stanley S.; sons Darrell K.M., Carlton K.K., Leonard K.H. and Stanley K.M.; daughters Joanne L. Kaichi and Yvonne L. Fong; sisters Beatrice Wong, Mary Chang, Gloria Chun and Jeannie Yuen; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary, 20 S.
