The San Diego Padres are offering a $2 discount for University of Hawaii students who purchase $8 tickets for the April 19 doubleheader between the Padres and the St. Louis Cardinals at Aloha Stadium. Padres discount
The discounted tickets are available only through the Aloha Stadium box office. Students must present a valid student ID when making the purchase.
Approximately 50,000 -- or half -- of the tickets for the April 19 and 20 series are still available for the first ever major league baseball regular-season games in Hawaii. Tickets are available at Aloha Stadium, at all MWR box offices on Hawaii military bases and through the stadium charge line at 484-1122 or, from the neighbor islands, 800-291-3999.
UH VOLLEYBALL BANQUET: The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team banquet is scheduled for April 13 at the Hawaiian Regent Hotel's Hawaiian Ballroom.
No-host cocktails are at 5 p.m. followed by a 6 p.m. buffet dinner. The cost is $30 per person and is due by April 9.
