Health affair: Health buffs of all ages are invited to the 13th annual Seniors' Health Fair tomorrow at the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce.

The fair takes place 8:30 a.m. to noon, with 30 health care agencies offering information on such topics as nutrition, health maintenance, exercise, disease prevention and stress reduction.

In addition, KITV's Dick Allgire will be giving a cooking demonstration at 11 a.m.

Fair admission is free, with validated parking for $2. Call 949-5531 for more information.

Something's brewing: Golden Dragon Restaurant in the Hilton Hawaiian Village hosts a brewmaster's dinner at 7 p.m. tomorrow. Chef Steve Chiang will team up with Walter Scheurle of Samuel Adams Boston Lager on a menu pairing the likes of Samuel Adams ales with Chinese cuisine. Onishi on sushi: Chef/caterer Paul Onishi leads a "Sushi Basics (class code: LR73CC108)" cooking demonstration/sampling, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, at Kapiolani Community College 'Ohi'a 118. Le Jeune Chef series: Indigo sous chef Donald Maruyama, an Iolani graduate, holds a Eurasian cuisine demonstration/tasting, 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Lyon Arboretum; $22. Call 988-7378.

Musical feast: Allegro Concert Orchestra hosts its first benefit concert and it promises to be a delicious event, with a gourmet dinner created by Indigo's Glen Chu and restaurateur Peter Dietrich. The event takes place at Indigo Restaurant, 1121 Nuuanu Ave., 4 to 7 p.m. April 13, with silent auction to 4:45 p.m. and the orchestra performing 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $100. McDougall's back in town: Dr. John McDougall, former doctor at Hamakua Sugar Plantation, and today a national authority on nutrition, hosts a seminar 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on how to eat for optimal health and how to lose weight on a healthy diet.
