Aloha, Sis

LAST week I learned from my sister Bev's daughter, Karen Armstrong, that Bev had suffered a heart attack, then a stroke in Colorado Springs. She could not recognize anyone. Karen and her sister, Yvonne Hyland, had dinner Monday and said they were pulled back to the hospital, although they had planned to go to bed. They said Bev's eyes were wide open as if she were looking for someone. They washed her face and she began breathing rapidly. Then the breathing came slower and slower until it stopped. Bev, Roosevelt '41, would have been 73 last Thursday. Beverly Davis is also survived by sons Rodney "Ramrod" Pedersen of Honolulu, Ron and Don Yager, both of Colorado Springs, brother, Elliott, of Kaneohe and eight grandkids. She'll be home before long ...
