Jeffrey G. Pietsch is a new principal at RE2, a company that provided market and economic analyses for business clients. He will be involved in market assessments, financial feasibility studies, and strategic planning.

"We have projects all over the world. I'll be traveling to Asia, the Pacific and South America," Pietsch said.

He comes from Attractions Hawaii, where he was chief operating officer for the parent company of the Sea Life Park and Waimea Valley tourist attractions. He also was general manager of Sea Life Park. Before that, Pietsch was a consultant for KPMG Peat Marwick.

He is a graduate of Punahou School and earned a bachelor's degree in hotel management from Cornell University.

RE2 was formed five years ago by Peter M.K. Kaanapu and serves clients from its offices in Honolulu and Orlando, Fla.
