Richard L. Davis, 72, of Knoxville, Tenn., stepfather of Mark and Brian Yorita of Honolulu, died Aug. 23. Davis, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served during World War II and the Korean War, is also survived by wife Mildred S.; daughters Kathi Davis, Patti Turner, Carol Mason and Lani Crowell; and eight grandchildren. Eloise M. Desha, 71, of Kailua-Kona died Saturday in Kona Community Hospital. She is survived by husband Godfrey B.; daughter Gayle D. Aiona; sons Alika K. and Godfrey K.; sister Ethel Clarry; brothers Henry P. and Harold Moniz; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Fenunuivao S. Fia, 69, of American Samoa died Aug. 28 in Straub Hospital.
