"World's Largest Car Wash": Budget Rent a Car locations around the world present a fund-raiser Saturday for the charity Give Kids the World. Budget employees will wash cars at Kukui Grove Shopping Center on Kauai, Budget off Lagoon Drive on Oahu, and Budget's airport rental return in Kaanapali, Kahului, Keahole-Kona and Ho'olehua Airport on Molokai. Suggested donation $5. The charity provides terminally ill children and their families with free, six-day vacations to Florida attractions. Call 599-2221.

In-Line Skate Challenge: Skaters choose a course of one to 10 miles, 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Windward Mall parking lot, near Sears. Aloha Plane Pull: Teams of 20 people try to tug a 50-ton plane 12 feet in a benefit for Hawaii Special Olympics, 8 a.m. Sept. 7 at Hickam Air Force Base.
