The Sweepa is trumpeted by its distributor as the first indoor-outdoor, rubber, all-weather broom that sweeps, scrubs, squeegees and adjusts for hard-to-reach areas.
The distributor, Quality Special Products of Minneapolis, Minn., says Sweepa can be used on ceramic tile, hardwood flooring, rugs, asphalt, vehicles, boats and house siding.
"The Sweepa is resistant to all kinds of temperatures, is acid resistant and removes pet hair, dust and lint from rugs and floors (with electrostatic action)," says Greg Johnson, president of Quality Special Products.
Sweepa can save stress on your back, while you avoid bending and stretching, because of the telescopic adjustable handle made of cold-rolled steel, Johnson says. The broom head is 12 inches wide, and the rubber bristles are dishwasher save, he says. Sweepa has a five-year replacement guarantee.
Sweepa began its infomercial campaign on television last September, and national advertising in January. Suggested retail price is $14.99 and it is available at Woolworth in Honolulu and Kahului.
Quality Special Products is a division of Quality/Dino Entertainment Ltd., which makes a variety of household and recreational products.
