Jukichi Inouye,90, of Eleele, Kauai, whose obituary appeared May 14, will be remembered in memorial services at 4:30 p.m. July 23 at West Kauai Hongwanji Temple. He is survived by daughter Dorothy R. Romeu and a grandchild. Casual attire. No flowers.

Fukutaro "Fred" Kaku, 71, of Hilo, a retired Hilo Motors supervisor, died Wednesday at home. He is survived by wife Hisako "Millie"; sons Rodney and Elton; brothers Haruo, Hiroshi, Noboru and Shoji; sisters Taeko Hirayama, Masako Inada, Sachiko Ebisuzaki and Chiyoko Takaki, and four grandchildren. Memorial service, 5 p.m. today at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Call after 4 p.m. Casual attire.

Kawayo Nomura, 98, of Aiea, died July 1 in Island Nursing Home. She is survived by sons Raymond and Akiyoshi; daughters Hatsuko Oka and Akie Sugai; sister Marian Takemoto, 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Private services.

Jeffrey Tranilla, 36, of Lahaina died Thursday in Maui Memorial Hospital. He is survived by parents Cornelio and Marcellina; sister Pamela Carvalho and brothers Maurice, Matthew and Timothy. Mass: 7:30 p.m. Friday at Maria Lanakila Church. Call after 6 p.m. Rosary: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Call after 8 a.m. Burial: Maui Memorial Park.
