Search for 1996 Royal Court: Aloha Festivals is taking applications from men and women for the Royal Court. Positions include conch shell blowers, kahili bearers and warriors for men, and ladies and chiefesses for women.

Applicants must be of Hawaiian descent, 18 or older, and be able to make appearances throughout the year. Men should be clean shaven. Deadline is July 10. Call 545-1771.

Zoo-per Seniors: The Honolulu Zoo invites seniors on botanical walks, tai chi practice and sneak previews of exhibits and the grounds on the first and third Wednesday each month. Third Wednesdays feature arts and crafts demonstrations. Gate opens 8 a.m. Admission $6 general, $4 kama'aina, $2 with Yum Yum Tree senior card. Call 971-7174.
