Iboshi moving up at Bank of America Hawaii

Support for Bank of America Hawaii's customer relationship management, product pricing and cost analysis is in the hands of Kent Iboshi, recently promoted to vice president.

"One facet of my job is to do the analysis on pricing to set the deposit rates," Iboshi said. Pricing on the bank's various products is done by analysis of historical purchasing patterns, he said.

Iboshi's career at Honolulu Federal Savings and Loan, and Bank of America began more than 10 years ago as a financial analyst.

Before moving to the bank's finance and administration division, Iboshi was a financial analyst in the bank's sales, treasury and tax support division.

Honolulu-born Iboshi graduated from Kaiser High School and earned a bachelor's degree in finance at the University of Hawaii. He lives with his wife, Pearl, in Kaimuki.
