Kong Saman, left, in the role of the mermaid Sovann Machha, and Check Samnang (portraying the monkey Hanuman) performed a dance depicting a story of Hanuman seeking the help of Machha to build a bridge across the ocean to rescue a princess.

Hem Sovetey performed the "Robam Choun Por" or the "Wishing Dance" at the Kahala Nui Retirement Home. The dance depicted the Khmer way to welcome and bless distinguished guests.
