Star-Bulletin staff
"G'day Meets Aloha" is the theme of Kahala Food & Wine Classic events Friday and Saturday at the Kahala Hotel & Resort.
Representing Australia will be chef Brent Savage and sommelier Nick Hildebrandt, both from Bentley Restaurant and Bar in Sydney.
Winemaker Michael Twelftree of Two Hands Wines will present his bottlings from Australia's Barossa Valley.
They'll all be featured in dinners on both nights as well as workshops on Aussie barbecuing, wine-tasting and cigars.
That last one will feature Michael Herklots of Davidoff in Geneva, N.Y., who will offer cigars throughout the events and in two sessions all his own.
