The Honolulu Design Center returns to its "Cupola Before Dawn" series of parties with a special performance by the ladies of Cherry Blossom Cabaret.
Doors open at 9:30 p.m. Friday, with $5 drink specials and a "Burlesque Photo Gallery." There is no cover for this 21-and-over party; VIP room reservations are available.

LEVEL4 Nightclub and Ultra Lounge resident DJ Paul Brandon will take a break from his duties in Waikiki this weekend to headline "Paul Brandon's House of Wax 4" at Pipeline Cafe.
Doors open at 9 p.m. for those 18-and-over; cover is $30 at the door. Along with local DJs Technique, PSI, EP, Trancis, Errrick, and Corey Ferren, guest DJ 4 Strings (pictured) will make a return trip to the islands, while DJs Andrea Britton and Alex M.O.R.P.H. will make their Hawaii debuts. The night will also feature a custom sound and light show to satisfy hardcore dancers.
