Car wash for charity
John Komeiji, partner in Watanabe Ing Komeiji and chairman of the board of the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, set an example during last year's "Make My Boss Wash My Car" fundraiser for the REHAB center. This year's event takes place Saturday at the REHAB parking lot, 226 N. Kuakini St. More local executives have signed on to wield hoses and sponges from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $10 -- $15 for vans, SUVs and trucks -- to benefit programs for brain-injured patients.
