Michelle Wie didn't do anything special during yesterday's final round of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic, shooting a 1-over 73 to finish in a tie for 46th at 1-over 285.
She earned $4,831 and will need a top-five finish in next month's Canadian Open to have any shot of finishing among the top-90 money winners on the LPGA Tour and automatically earn her card. If she doesn't, then she'll have to go through qualifying school to be eligible to play full-time on tour.
On the PGA Tour, Dean Wilson shot a 5-under 66 during the final round of the John Deere Classic to finish in a tie for 34th at 7-under 277. Fellow local boy Parker McLachlin (69) tied for 62nd at 3-under 281.
