KITTY HAWK PAYS RESPECTS TO ARIZONA

The USS Kitty Hawk aircraft carrier arrived yesterday in Pearl Harbor to take part in this month's RIMPAC military exercises. Sailors lined the entire aircraft carrier's deck, standing at attention as they passed the Arizona Memorial.

A ceremony yesterday at the University of Hawaii marked the establishment of the nation's first Center for Okinawan Studies. Opening the ceremony, Cheryl Nakasone performed "Kajadifuu," a classical Okinawan music and dance performance.
