Former Hawaii star and San Francisco 49ers All-Pro offensive lineman Jesse Sapolu ran drills with local high school offensive linemen Saturday at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Tafuna, Tutuila, American Samoa, during the June Jones Foundation Football Academy.
Frank Gansz Sr., Southern Methodist University special teams and assistant head coach, ran a drill with high school players at the football training camp. Gansz is a former head coach of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs.
Former Hawaii coach and current Southern Methodist University coach June Jones directed two players to their positions during a drill. "Hopefully it's going to be bigger and better next year," Jones said at the end of the June Jones Foundation Football Academy.
