>>Shane Victorino (St. Anthony) extended his hitting streak to a career-high 12 games yesterday, going 2-for-4 with two runs against the Marlins. During the streak, Victorino is 22-for-52 (.423) with 17 runs, seven RBIs, and six stolen bases. Victorino leads his team with 12 stolen bases this season.
>>Kurt Suzuki (Baldwin) went 0-for-4 on Thursday, ending his seven-game hitting streak.
>>Rex Rundgren (Mid-Pacific) was placed on the seven-day disabled list by Triple-A Las Vegas, retroactive to last Sunday, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
>>Cleveland Indians prospect Bronson Sardinha (Kamehameha) was demoted to Double-A Akron on Monday. Sardinha's demotion from Triple-A Buffalo came hours before he was scheduled to play against his brother, Dane Sardinha (Kamehameha) of the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens. "We felt like this would be an opportunity for him to play every day," said Buffalo manager Torey Lovullo in an article by the Toledo Blade.
>>Kila Kaaihue (Iolani) continues to post impressive statistics while playing for Double-A Northwest Arkansas. Kaaihue, who is riding a seven-game hitting streak, leads his team in home runs (11) and RBIs (36).
>>Brian Finegan (University of Hawaii) was sent to extended spring training on Wednesday by Double-A Altoona.
>>Steven Wright (University of Hawaii) had his best outing of the season on Thursday, pitching the first shutout of his career for the Class-A Kinston Indians. Wright surrendered two hits and struck out seven. The performance lowered his ERA to 2.38 this season. "I was really pitching well with my fastball, in and out, working it down in the zone," said Wright in an article on the team's Web site.
>>Kanekoa Texeira (Kamehameha) picked up his eigth save on Friday for Class-A Winston-Salem. Teixeira has eight saves this season, the third-most in the Carolina League.
