Sale marks 3 years of Island Glassworks
Island Glassworks celebrates its third anniversary tomorrow with a sale on select items. The studio specializes in glass-blowing, custom lighting and contemporary art glass.
The Kailua-based studio was founded by Geoff Lee, who earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in glass from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2003. Located at 171-A Hamakua Drive, Island Glassworks will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Annual expo shows latest home products
The 31st annual Home, Garden and New Products expo June 13 to 15 will showcase the latest concepts for the home and garden.
Those attending can partake in the "Taste of the Pacific" with food by Le Crepe Cafe, India Cafe, Nani Baba's Ono Hawaiian Food and more.
Besides the great food, they'll have a chance to meet Hoku Hanohano Award winner Karen Keawehawai'i and check out her line of floral adornments for the hair and home, "Looks Like Real Flowers."
Prize giveaways include a chance to win one year of free gas courtesy of Lex Brodie, a large plasma TV from Sam's Club, luxury cruises to the Bahamas or Mexico from Rock Star Travels and more.
Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. June 13; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. June 14; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 15 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Cost is $5; seniors and military, $4; children, free.

Seminar offers tips on ohana living
Graham Builders presents "Multi-Generation Homes -- A Family Affair," a free seminar tomorrow on how to make your home comfortable and safe for grandparents, parents and children, all living under one roof.
Bonnie Osaki, customer care director and Evan Fujimoto, vice president of operations of Graham Builders will conduct the workshop.

Ikebana workshop, exhibit at Macy's
Celebrate the traditional art of Ikebana when Macy's hosts a workshop on Japanese flower arranging this weekend. Find inspiration for your creations in the exhibit "Watashi no Hana -- Flowers from Within," created by Sogetsu artist Carole Sakata and her students.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. tonight and tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 1. Classes will be held in the Special Events room on the third floor of Macy's Ala Moana. Call 945-5894.
