Eighteen-year-old Darwin Nagamine showed off his muscles Saturday to volunteers Laura Schwitters, left, and Jenna Niemeyer after running his 4x100 relay race during the Special Olympics State Summer Games sports event at the University of Hawaii-Manoa campus. Athletes throughout the state have been training and competing in preparation for the State Summer Games. Athletes of all levels and abilities will compete in track and field events, softball, powerlifting and swimming during the three-day statewide competition.
