Fujikawa sinking in Japan
While Dean Wilson and Parker McLachlin had reasonable rounds at yesterday's Crowne Plaza Invitational, such was not the case for Tadd Fujikawa a half a world away.
The Moanalua High junior shot a closing-round 80 today to finish at 5-over 293 at the Munsingwear Open KSB Cup on the Japan Golf Tour. He was among the earlier finishers and will likely finish near the bottom in the 67-man field.
Wilson was among the first golfers to tee it up at the Crowne Plaza Invitational yesterday and made the most of it with a 4-under 66 to move up 24 spots to a tie for 28th at 3-under 207. He trails front-runner Phil Mickelson by nine shots entering today's final round.
McLachlin is even farther off the pace after shooting an even-par 70 for the third consecutive day. He is tied for 53rd at even-par 210.
