Punahou tips Mid-Pac

After a shaky start, Punahou pitcher Reece Kiriu settled in, throwing a complete game and fanning three to lead the Buffanblu to a 5-3 upset of Mid-Pacific yesterday in an ILH baseball tourney game at Ala Wai Community Park.
Kiriu walked in two straight Owls batters in the first before retiring the side. He eventually made up for his poor start, allowing only one additional run to pick up the win.
