» The last name of John Walters, program administrator for the state Department of Human Services, was misspelled in stories on Page A6 Monday. Also, Hawaii's child abuse and neglect re-abuse rate is one of the lowest in the nation. It was reported incorrectly as the lowest. The Web edition has been corrected.

» Thomas Goodin, Mid-Pacific Institute eighth-grader, won first place for junior research in this year's State Science and Engineering Fair. His last name was reported incorrectly in a Page A5 article April 3. The Web edition has been corrected.
