Sheraton Hawaii Bowl date set
The 2008 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl is set for Wednesday, Dec. 24, at 3 p.m. at Aloha Stadium, the game's new executive director, Dave Matlin, announced yesterday.
The game will feature a team from the Pac-10 against a member of the WAC. Hawaii receives an automatic bid if it is bowl eligible.
"We are pleased to return to our Christmas Eve tradition," Matlin said. "We're very excited about the Pac-10 vs. WAC match-up, and look forward to ESPN featuring two quality teams in a prime-time slot on national television."
This will be the fourth time the game will be played on Christmas Eve.
For the third straight year, ticket prices for the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl will remain the same (between $15 and $45 for adults). Individual tickets go on sale to the general public July 28. Corporate tickets are on sale now by calling (808) 523-3688.
