Vuitton's logo 'Tahitiennes' line looks like a Hawaiian aloha print
Have you ever thought that the Louis Vuitton logo, blown up to a larger size would look a lot like an aloha print?
You were right! For summer 2008, Louis Vuitton is launching a new line, "Tahitiennes," that appears made for the isles.
The Monogram print is revisited through an update of a pattern inspired by the cover of a Louis Vuitton catalogue dating to the 1920s.
This new line is summery and feminine. It offers freshness and novelty, the focus is on color: sand, pink, lilac and mint. Two printed canvas bags (small and large size), shoes, a pareo, a bath towel and shorts make up the collection. The collection just debuted in Louis Vuitton stores worldwide.
