The Chinese Language and Culture Fair held yesterday at the Iolani School cafeteria, sponsored by the Chinese Language Education Association of Hawaii, featured a lion dance, games, music and demonstrations. Ryohei Futatsugi, left, Kenneth Chong, Liam Mueller, Sean Wright and Raymond Tong, all Maryknoll High School students, demonstrated Che Ling (Pull Bell), a Chinese yo-yo.

Members of the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village in Taiwan performed yesterday at Ala Moana Center Stage as part of the Honolulu Festival, a celebration of Asian and Pacific Rim cultures. Festival events continue today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hawaii Convention Center, Ala Moana Shopping Center and in Waikiki, with a parade in Waikiki starting at 4:30 p.m.
