The Kottonmouth Kings

Pipeline Cafe / 589-1999

After 12 years together, the Kottonmouth Kings (pictured) continue to blend hip-hop, rap and punk, reflective of their Southern California roots.

Not content with music alone, the band runs a clothing company and record label (Suburban Noize Records) as well.

Expect a new album in June, and expect to see them again shortly after that.

Monday

St. Patrick's Day

Various / 550-8457

Monday is St. Patrick's Day, and a number of events are planned for those feeling the luck of the Irish.

Start off in Waikiki with the 41st annual St. Patrick's Day Parade along Kalakaua Avenue, followed by the annual post parade party at Kelly O'Neil's in Waikiki. And the annual Downtown St. Patrick's Day Block Party is scheduled from 5:30 to 11 p.m. around the corner of Nuuanu Ave. and Merchant St. Finish the night with live music at O'Toole's, or just kick back with a drink at other Irish bars in Honolulu like the Irish Rose Saloon, Murphy's, Ferguson's or Jameson's By the Sea.
