HEATED UP ABOUT THE HEATDENNIS ODA / DODA@STARBULLETIN.COM
Campbell High School students protested at the state Capitol yesterday after their school was dropped to No. 70 on a new Department of Education waiting list for air conditioning. Educators at the Ewa Beach school say the heat and noisy airplanes bound for Honolulu Airport runways make it hard on students and staff. The students, including, from left at front, Desirae Dayton, 14, Marcus Nahoi, 15, Riley Curran, 14, and Sy Delizo, 14, marched around the Capitol, then rallied inside the rotunda for funding to cool the campus.
