Hensley throws 1-hitter in Waianae victory over Aiea

Star-Bulletin staff

Kalei Hensley pitched a one-hitter as host Waianae beat Aiea 3-0 in an Oahu Interscholastic Association baseball game yesterday.

Hensley yielded just a clean third-inning single to Brennan Alejo. He struck out four and walked two, and no Aiea runner advanced past second.

"He has a lot of poise for a sophomore," Seariders coach Kekoa Kaluhiokalani said of the 6-foot, 220-pound righty. "He throws a lot of strikes and has a nice three-quarters delivery."
