2. Kids Wear

3. Piano

While some Nordstrom stores have done away with the pianists that had been fixtures since the 1980s, the Ala Moana store will have three pianists dividing shifts at the Steinway & Sons baby grand. First floor

4. Marketplace Café

Shopping can be dizzying after a few hours. If you need a break or boost of energy, the cafe offers salads, sandwiches, pizzas and pastas, with seating for 200. Dishes geared toward local tastes include an ahi nicoise salad and kalua pork pizza. First floor. Quick snacks and coffees can also be found at Ebar on the second and third floors.

5. Gelato Bar

This is a first for Nordstrom, no doubt taking our sunny weather into account. If you've made your way here from the main part of the mall and need to cool off, sample flavors of macadamia nut, raspberry, champagne and pistachio, from local gelato maker Maurice Grasso.
