BINGEING ON BENTOSDENNIS ODA / DODA@STARBULLETIN.COM
Competitive eaters Asami Miyamishi, left, and Hitomi Sato chowed down yesterday at Korean BBQ Express at Ward Centre. They, along with four other Japanese women, are competing in a series of eating events for TV Tokyo's "Oogui No Ketteisen" ("Big Eating Contest") at various locations around Oahu. The contestants each have appetites large enough for them to eat at least 100 pieces of maguro (tuna) sushi. Yesterday's event did not seem like much of a competition; rather, it was just a warm-up for the TV cameras and finals tomorrow at the Waikiki Shopping Plaza.
